Sisters Community Park is a five-acre community park in southeast Sisters located between East Cascade Ave and Highway 20. The park includes green space, pickleball courts, playground, basketball court, walking path, shelter, and restrooms.
Sisters Community Park opened to the public in late fall 2025. It was developed following an extensive planning process, and was funded with minimal general fund dollars through a combination of the State of Oregon’s Local Government Grant Program, a large donation from the Sisters Pickleball Club, private donors, and additional fundraising efforts through the SOAR Foundation. The park sits on the site of the old Sisters Elementary School, and shares a site with the Sisters Community Recreation Center.

Why does Sisters Pickleball Club receive priority use?
The Pineview Tennis Club made a substantial donation to SPRD, which the district was able to leverage as matching funds for a State of Oregon Local Government Grant Program grant to fund construction of the park. As a part of this donation agreement, Sisters Pickleball Club received reserved court time. The pickleball club also provides ongoing cleaning and light maintenance of the pickleball courts, and contributes additional funds for major maintenance and repairs so they remain in excellent condition for the public to enjoy.
When does the Sisters Pickleball Club have the courts reserved?
Courts 3-8 are reserved for Sisters Pickleball Club organized play during the following days and times:
Are there courts available for public drop-in play during Sisters Pickleball Club time?
Yes! Courts 1-2 are open for drop-in play during all reserved pickleball club times listed above with the exception of club special events and tournaments. Outside of the reserved pickleball club times, all courts are open and available for drop-in play on a first-come, first-play basis.
