Grades K-5. Introduce your child to the sport of basketball with SPRD youth basketball. This program will focus on fundamental basketball skills, game play, sportsmanship, teamwork, and having fun! For more information and details, please visit district website.

1/13-3/8              $80 ID/$104 OD

Grades 2/3, Boys & Girls*       
1/13-3/8              $85 ID/$111 OD

Grades 4/5, Boys & Girls*
1/13-3/8              $96 ID/$125 OD

*A minimum of 4 teams is required per division; boys and girls divisions may be combined into one coed division at the district’s discretion if this minimum is not met.

Registration ends Monday, 11/25; no refunds will be issued after registration period ends.

Program Information

• Player Assessments: Player assessments will be conducted for players in grades 2-5 the week of December 9. District staff uses player evaluations as a tool to help divide teams as evenly as possible to help ensure fair play.
• Practices: Grade K-1 teams will practice once per week; Grade 2-5 teams will practice twice per week. Practices schedules are based on facility and coach availability; parents will be contacted directly by coaches with their team’s practice schedule after teams have been formed.  
• Games: All games will be played on Saturdays. Game schedules will be distributed after teams have been formed. *There will be no games Presidents’ Day weekend.

Volunteer Coaches Needed!
SPRD’s youth athletic programs depend on volunteer coaches to be successful. No previous experience is necessary and all training is provided. If you are interested in coaching, please indicate this at the time of registration and complete the district’s volunteer application no later than Friday, November 22.
