Family Doggy Walk About- Your dog and polite leash skills

This class requires both a parent and their child

Gain confidence and control when walking your dogs. Leash walking, leave it, greeting people and dogs, and paying attention in the presence of distractions will be practiced. Topics of discussion include improving recalls, sharing sidewalks or trails with others, off-leash etiquette, and how dogs learn.

Dogs should be on a 6’ leash with collar or harness. No prong, shock, or choke collars, please. Dogs should be current on vaccinations and will need to show before classes. Bring lots of yummy chewy treats and a smiling face!

One-hour class, weekly for 4 weeks at SPRD starting May 18th (Optional field trip on week 4). $65 per dog. Registration deadline is May 15.
