Sisters Park and Recreation District (SPRD) was founded on the idea that kids need extracurricular activities to become well-rounded adults. Today we offer a variety of activities during the year to keep kids engaged and having fun. Our goal is to strike a balance between competitive sport and recreation, while giving kids a foundation to continue playing and participating as they grow into adulthood. We’re taking a K-12 approach with our youth and middle school sports which means we make decisions that are in the best interest for the entire program. We do everything in order to set your child up for success at the next level.
Youth sports with SPRD is where it all starts for young Outlaws! Sisters youth sports puts emphasis on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun! With that, we prepare them for their transition into middle school sports and the more competitive aspects.
Practices will begin week of October 14th. One group practice as well as individual team practices will be held each week. This level uses the Volley Lite volleyballs which are developmentally appropriate for this grade level. Practices are held during the week in Sisters and games are on Saturdays in Bend. Registration deadline: September 27 (10% late fee added to registration cost after this date.)
