Participants will spend two days engaged in a design challenge using science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Working together, participants will learn the skills and knowledge needed to master the challenge. Past years have included chemistry, robotics, rocketry, astrobiology,
computer coding, seismology, hydrology, fire science, and many other topics- the challenge will be revealed on day one of the camp! Instructors are graduates of the OSU-Cascades’ Masters in Science Teaching program. The camp is free, thanks to a generous donation by the Roundhouse Foundation. A materials fee of $20 is requested but will be waived as needed. All campers receive lunch each day and a T-shirt.
***Ending time is actually 2 pm, not 4 pm as previously advertised. We apologize for the confusion.***
