Buried Beef has been cancelled. Please see below note from Executive Director, Liam Hughes:

There have been a variety of factors that influenced our decision to cancel, with one of the major ones being that an event that involves us building a giant smoky fire in the middle of town and burning a cord of wood, doesn’t seem to excite the residents of Sisters right now, and I can certainly see why. We apologize to anyone that was looking forward to the delicious slow cooked beef, but we will reevaluate, and may be able to hold the event in the spring instead.

Those who purchased tickets will receive a full refund and should contact us at 541-549-2091.

We heard your requests and have planned accordingly, Jeff Omodt is BACK to offer his photography course in the evenings!

Photography for Everybody:

This 6 week course will explore the building blocks and concepts of making better pictures using your own camera, whether it's an iphone or DSLR. Each meeting will have a skill or technique to explore and develop, then a homework assignment to go out and try. Instructor Jeff Omodt, a lifelong photographic fanatic, will bring examples to illustrate various concepts and then encourage everyone to share their own special skills and techniques. No previous experience is necessary!

Tuesdays: Sep 19th through Oct 24 from 5:30 to 7:00pm at SPRD. Total cost is $50.

Register today by giving us a call at 541-549-2091, stopping by our office at 1750 McKinney Butte Road (next door to the high school), or going online at sistersrecreation.com.
